I am an AAGB /IBC member interested in keeping smaller types of wild
betta species - I am particularly interested in maintaining the Betta
coccina type species which originate from the peat swamps in South East
Asia (primarily Indonesia and Malaysia). I am also interested
in small mouthbrooding Betta species from these areas. I am currently
maintaining the following species:

Betta tussyae "Rompin"
Betta brownorum (populations from "Matang" and "Sibu")
Betta burdigala "Kalimantan"
Betta livida (popluations from "Tanjong Malim" and "Tanjong Karang")
Betta coccina "Jambi"
Betta foerschi "Kubu"
Betta persephone "Ayer Hitam"
Betta dimidiata "Kuapas"
Betta simplex "Krabi"
Betta picta "Java"
Betta pugnax "Kuantan"
Betta pulchra "Pontian"
Betta waseri
Betta imbellis (populations from "Ko Samui", "Marang", "Rantau Abang"
and "Sumatra")

Obviously, I don't have fry of all the above species available at all
times, so, I don't provide lists. If you are looking for something in
the above list, please send me an email - offers for trade are
always considered, provided they are for fish I am interested in. Sorry,
I cannot accept any international orders due to problems with the Post
Office.

At present, I am looking for pairs or trios of B. coccina "Muar"

I am also interested in getting old articles, books and papers on wild
Betta and anabantoid species.
